    Our Network:  Overview

    VoIPStreet's Business Class VoIP Network is designed to provide high performance and scalability at a low unit cost. Our data centers are physically redundant, with multiple power grids connected via Metro SONET infrastructure. This set-up prevents downtime in the event of a localized outage. With VoIPStreet, you'll never have to worry about your network crashing!

    VoIPStreet's data centers are connected to the internet via multiple IP peering points to both Tier 1 and Tier 2 IP Backbones. Our interconnect capacity across our IP backbone is multi-gig and on the rise. At the edge of our network, VoIPStreet has over 7,500+ rate centers and we are constantly striving to improve our service by expanding our digital footprint. Our DID warehouse holds in excess of 80,000 DIDs that are ready to be provisioned.

    Maintaining our network's high performance and scalability is largely centered on managing the physical switching hardware that resides in our geographically diverse data centers. Bandwidth congestion is managed by carrying excess capacity on all of our IP backbone connections and is monitored by the best available bandwidth analysis software. Our team manages latency by utilizing BGP routes from multiple providers, allowing traffic to be routed via the most direct route possible, eliminating unnecessary network traversal. VoIPStreet manages the VoIP network via a state of the art 7x24x365 NOC (Network Operations Center).
